Phoenix Protocol

Your data declared unrecoverable? We try where others gave up.

Another lab turned your media down, returned an “unrecoverable” verdict or quoted an impossible deadline? The Phoenix Protocol is how we handle the hardest cases. Every case is unique: feasibility, approach and terms are determined at an initial lab diagnosis.

Complex & refused cases Handled by one engineer Lab in Brussels

The Phoenix Protocol is for you if…

  • Another lab or repair shop gave up on your media.
  • You were told your data was “permanently lost”.
  • The quote you got elsewhere is out of reach and you want a second opinion.
  • Your case is heavy: drive already opened without success, multi-failure RAID, memory chip to desolder, micro-soldering.

Why we succeed where others stop

Hard cases are not handled on a production line. Every Phoenix case is taken on personally by Takhir Saidov, in our Brussels lab. Where an industrial centre closes a file judged unprofitable, a dedicated engineer takes the time it needs — a second read-only clone, head-stack transplant, firmware reprogramming, direct memory-chip reading (chip-off), virtual sector-by-sector RAID rebuild.

  • ISO 5 cleanroom
  • Read-head transplant
  • Firmware reprogramming
  • Chip-off (NAND) reading
  • Micro-soldering
  • Virtual RAID rebuild

They had given up hope — their data was saved

A highly skilled, experienced, and professional company. Where other recovery companies refused to take on the challenge, this company succeeded. Thank you!

Incredible service, if there is the slightest chance of recovering your data, he will do it. This is not the first time I have brought desperate cases to him and he has always been able to work miracles.

Excellent service and work. 2TB of data recovered from my hard drive after a first, incompetent computer shop failed. Thank you to Data Recovery.

How we handle your case

  1. 1
    Hand us your media

Drop it off in Brussels or send it securely. Tell us what you were already told elsewhere.

  2. 2
    Initial lab diagnosis

We examine the media in the lab to determine what is really possible, the approach required and the terms. This is when everything becomes clear.

  3. 3
    Recovery once you agree

If recovery is possible, we present the approach and a clear quote. Nothing proceeds without your approval.

We never promise the impossible. But before you give up on your data for good, let us examine it: a lab diagnosis will show what is really recoverable — and many “unrecoverable” cases turn out not to be.

Frequently asked

Do you take cases other labs refused?

Yes — that is exactly what the Phoenix Protocol is for. Many media declared “unrecoverable” elsewhere are so because the case needed more time or specific tooling. We run an independent lab diagnosis, regardless of the previous verdict.

And if my data really is unrecoverable?

After the lab diagnosis, we tell you honestly whether recovery is realistic. You then decide with full knowledge.

How much does a second-opinion recovery cost?

These are among the most demanding cases and each one is unique: the price and terms depend on the real complexity, known only after the initial lab diagnosis. We then give you a clear quote, validated by you before any work.

My drive was already opened elsewhere — is it lost?

Not necessarily. Opening it outside a cleanroom reduces the odds but does not always cancel them. We assess the platters and attempt recovery in our cleanroom.

Where is my media handled?

In our lab in Brussels. It does not leave the country and stays with the same engineer from diagnosis to return.
