Data Recovery in Ixelles
Brussels communeIn Ixelles (postcode 1050), Belgium Data Recovery recovers your data from our Schaerbeek laboratory, about twenty minutes from Flagey. Ixelles is full of freelancers, agencies, shops and students: the devices we see most are laptops with NVMe SSDs that no longer boot, photographers' and videographers' external drives, and students' smartphones. Call us first on 02 888 29 90: after a short conversation, you drop your device at the lab and the diagnosis is free, immediate and carried out in front of you. No cure, no pay: you only pay if recovery succeeds, after checking your files. Your data never leaves Belgium.
Data recovery laboratory for Ixelles
Ixelles (1050) is one of Brussels' densest, busiest communes: the ULB and the Solbosch campus, agencies and start-ups around Flagey and Châtelain, freelancers and shops. Data loss here follows that profile — a MacBook or laptop whose SSD is no longer recognised, an external video-editing drive that fails, a small agency's NAS in RAID failure, or a dropped phone holding a dissertation.
In every case the simplest move is to call first: a short phone conversation lets us pin down the fault, then you drop your device — hard drive, SSD, NAS, USB stick, memory card or smartphone — at our Brussels laboratory, Chaussée de Louvain 467 (Schaerbeek), right outside Meiser station, 10 minutes from Madou metro. The diagnosis is immediate and carried out in front of you. Every operation is done here, in Belgium: your drive never leaves the country. Belgium Data Recovery is an independent laboratory in Brussels since 2012, equipped with an ISO 5 cleanroom.
The jobs we handle for Ixelles clients most often involve laptop NVMe SSDs that have become unreadable and smartphones whose photos and documents need to be extracted; every device is diagnosed free of charge and in front of the client before any work begins.

Data recovery in Ixelles, explained
How long does it take to reach the laboratory from Flagey or the ULB?
About twenty minutes from Ixelles: take metro 2 or 6 to Madou, then bus 63 or 29 to the Place Meiser or Radium stop. By car, 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic, but Brussels is a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) and parking at the destination is paid and tight: public transport is often simpler.
Is it better to come to the laboratory or post my disk?
As Ixelles is in Brussels, the trip is quick: coming to the laboratory is the recommended option, because the diagnosis is then immediate and carried out in front of you. Posting it stays possible if you cannot travel, but it brings no advantage when you are about twenty minutes from the lab.
My NVMe SSD (MacBook, ultrabook) is no longer detected: is it recoverable?
Often, yes. A controller or firmware failure on an SSD does not necessarily erase the memory cells. Bring the device or the SSD: the free laboratory diagnosis establishes whether the data is accessible, and you then decide, with no obligation. SSD pricing from €360 excl. VAT, confirmed only after the diagnosis.
