Cookie Policy
This page explains how Belgium Data Recovery uses cookies and similar technologies on its site. It complements our Privacy Policy and complies with the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC as transposed into Belgian law, together with the recommendations of the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA). In case of doubt or discrepancy, the French version available on this site prevails.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) by the site you visit. It allows, in particular, to remember your preferences, measure a site's audience, or personalise an advertising experience.
We distinguish first-party cookies (placed by our own site) and third-party cookies (placed by external services such as Google).
2. Our cookie categories

3. Your choices
On your first visit, an information banner offers three options: Accept all, Decline all, or Manage preferences. As long as you have not expressed your choice, no non-essential cookie is placed.
You may modify your preferences at any time via the button above, or via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and has no retroactive effect on processing already carried out.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You may also configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the site's functioning.
5. Consent log
In accordance with APD recommendations, we keep an anonymised record of your consent (unique identifier, date, accepted categories) so we can evidence its existence in case of audit. This record is stored at our host (Netlify, EU servers) for up to 12 months, with no direct link to your identity.
6. Changes
We update this policy whenever the cookie list changes. The date at the top of the page reflects the last revision. For any question, contact us at info@infobyte.be.
