A real Brussels laboratory.
One engineer. Zero middlemen.
About us Since 2012, Belgium Data Recovery has operated from a physical laboratory in Brussels — not a virtual office, not a drop-off point. Your hard drive never leaves Belgium.
Our mission: uncompromising security and local expertise
Belgium Data Recovery was founded with a clear, singular purpose: to provide Belgian businesses, public institutions, and private individuals with elite-tier data recovery services right here in the capital.
In an era where information is your most valuable asset, we operate on the principle of strict local control. We firmly believe that your critical corporate data, financial records, and personal archives should never become a liability in cross-border shipping networks.
The entire recovery cycle — from initial diagnostic evaluation to complex micro-engineering in a clean room — takes place under one roof at our dedicated laboratory in Brussels.
Every case is handled personally by the same certified engineer (MCP, MCSE) — no juniors, no call centre.
The engineer behind every recovery
Behind every successful data rescue is a high-level engineering qualification — not an automated script. The technical operations and laboratory at Belgium Data Recovery are personally led by Takhir Saidov.
- In the IT industry since 1998
Over 25 years of foundational experience in information technology: operating system architectures, low-level programming, and complex data storage logic.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCP & MCSE)
A globally recognised IT professional holding MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) credentials — verified expertise in managing high-end corporate IT infrastructures.
- Elite data recovery specialist since 2012
Since 2012, Takhir has focused exclusively on specialised data salvage technologies. He is a regular participant in closed international conferences hosted by AceLab — the world leader in data recovery hardware development. This ensures our lab is always equipped with the latest proprietary methodologies for reading damaged media that standard IT repair shops simply cannot handle.
- Sapiteur — technical expertise called upon by the courts
This mastery of the physical media goes beyond the private sphere: Takhir acts as a technical advisor for court-appointed experts — the technical specialist called in, with the judge's authorisation, to recover data from damaged or locked media while preserving its evidentiary value. The "Boutique Lab" advantage
In data recovery, many Brussels addresses are in fact only drop-off points: from there, drives are forwarded to distant labs, adding handlers, delays and physical handling. At Belgium Data Recovery we've made a different choice: everything happens on-site, here in Brussels — your device stays in the hands of a single engineer.
Direct 24/7 access to the engineer
We completely eliminate middlemen, sales reps, and remote call centres reading from scripts. You deal directly with Takhir Saidov — the certified engineer who will physically open and work on your drive in the clean room. No "broken telephone" effect, immediate and accurate updates. Emergency line available around the clock.
Absolute confidentiality & GDPR compliance
When a storage device passes through a long logistics chain of couriers, sorting facilities, and junior handlers, the risk of data exposure skyrockets. Many providers even ship drives abroad, adding extra handlers and days in transit. At our lab, your drive stays in one pair of hands — physically at Chaussée de Louvain 467, protected under strict Belgian law.
State-of-the-art Brussels infrastructure
We invest heavily in bleeding-edge lab equipment rather than massive marketing campaigns. Our Brussels facility gives you access to the best tools available to recover your data, even in the most complex cases.
Our equipment
AceLab PC-3000
Hardware-software complexes PC-3000 Portable PRO, PC-3000 UDMA and PC-3000 Flash to read drives directly, bypassing failing operating systems.
ISO 5 Clean Room
Sterile Class ISO 5 clean room for safely opening HDD drive enclosures and replacing magnetic head assemblies without dust contamination.
Professional micro-soldering
Professional micro-soldering stations for restoring damaged SSD controller boards and logic circuits.
The questions to ask a data recovery laboratory
These are the questions you are advised to ask before handing a drive to anyone. Here are our answers.
01 Where exactly is your laboratory?
Chaussée de Louvain 467, 1030 Schaerbeek (Brussels), 1st floor. This is where drives are received, diagnosed, opened and imaged — there is no separate drop-off point and no laboratory elsewhere. This establishment unit has been registered at this address since 2014 in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (company no. BE 0843.790.429).
02 Do you open the drives yourself or send them to a partner?
Ourselves, on site. Diagnosis, opening under the laminar-flow hood, head replacement, electronics repair, firmware work and imaging are all done in our Schaerbeek laboratory, by the same engineer. Your drive never leaves Belgium. The only exception, set out in our terms: a very specific operation (certain NAND memories, rare mobile expertise) may be entrusted to a subcontractor based in Belgium, only with your prior written consent.
03 Can I see the laboratory where my drive will be handled?
Yes. You bring your drive and the diagnosis is done in your presence, in the laboratory: you see the workbench, the PC-3000 stations, the ISO 5 laminar-flow hood and the engineer who will work on your drive. You then decide, on the spot, whether to leave it with us.
04 What equipment do you use?
Several ACE Lab PC-3000 UDMA systems with Data Extractor RAID Edition, PC-3000 Portable PRO and PC-3000 Flash for NAND memories, an ISO 5 laminar-flow hood for opening drives, a micro-soldering station and a stock of donor drives. The PC-3000 is the industry reference tool: it reads the drive by talking directly to its controller, without going through an operating system.
05 Do you have a cleanroom? Which one?
A laminar-flow hood with ULPA filtration that provides an ISO class 5 working zone exactly where the drive is opened. It is not a whole room labelled “clean room”: the working zone itself is in clean air, which is what matters for the platters and heads.
06 Who works on my drive, and with what qualifications?
Takhir Saidov, founder and the lab’s only engineer: every drive goes through his hands, from diagnosis to handing over the data. He has been recovering data in Brussels since 2012 — close to fifteen years of hands-on work on thousands of drives. Continuous training at ACE Lab, the maker of the PC-3000, with certificates of attendance at its conferences and workshops from 2018 to 2025, plus Microsoft MCP / MCSE certifications.
07 Will I see the list of recovered files before paying?
Yes. After recovery you come to the lab and check your files yourself — open photos, documents — before any payment. If you cannot come, you receive the detailed file list or a remote verification session. No result, no payment.
Your device is in safe hands
Free diagnosis, no commitment. You only pay if your data is recovered.
